Brâncuși is yet another dog rescued from Târgu Jiu who has come into the care of Adăpostul Speranța. Brâncuși’s muzzle is severely injured, most likely as the result of a powerful blow she suffered. We still cannot get close enough to handle her—she is frightened. And we understand why.
Emoție – Uzunu Survivor
Emoție no longer remembers exactly what happened to him, and that is a good thing. The past from Uzunu haunts him only in his dreams. In them, he trembles and whimpers. But when he wakes up, he is a dog who has moved forward and continues to believe.
Pufulete – Survivor of a Public Shelter
Pufulete is a male dog who carries fear like a shadow that never leaves him. His body is constantly tense, his large eyes reveal his panic, and any approach makes him freeze or instinctively pull away.

At the Suraia shelter, her life was full of fear and loneliness, and people offered her nothing but indifference. She didn’t know what it meant to be seen, loved, or protected.
