Mișu

Mișu broke our hearts. We don’t know what happened to him in the public shelter in Târgu Jiu, but he is now in a deep depression.

He sits like this for hours, in the farthest corner of the paddock, with his head against a wall, like an ostrich. He seems anxious to disappear, to break away from the people who have abandoned him, from the life he no longer wants. If we’d heard of more suic suicides in dogs, we’d be even more worried about Mișu.

He’s not ready to be taken home yet. He can’t even get close to people, he can barely move, he’s in a quasi-permanent freeze. Which is why he needs you and us all the more. More than anything, he needs friends. A long-distance adoption, one or more people who would take a constant interest in him and visit him, would help him a lot. He wants, like every soul, to feel loved. When you know you are loved, in this life, you turn your face from the walls to those you care about.

Through a monthly donation you can remotely adopt one of Speranta’s dogs and help pay for their food, shelter and medical care.

The amount is of your choosing and you, or the lucky person you adopted the dog for, will receive regular updates and pictures.
