Matilda is a mythical creature. Half small dog with short hair, half brown bear with curly fur. She’s over 8 years old and doesn’t care much for people—but she absolutely adores other dogs. Maybe she reminds you of someone… maybe even yourself. Maybe the two of you would get along just fine, a little grumpy, spending your days among (other) dogs.

For now, Matilda remains in our shelter, where she is safe, but we dream of a peaceful life for her—at her own pace. Until then, she would truly appreciate a long-distance adoption—to help provide for her needs: food, care, a warm bed, and, from time to time, a kind word sent from afar.
