Mască survived the hell of the Suraia shelter. He was there, in silence, living through fear and loneliness like all the other dogs.
When we came for him, we found him alert, scared, but with a will of steel. We took him out of that cold, silent place, and for the first time, he was seen as a being, not a number.
We call him Mască because his face seems to wear a mask – but beneath it lies a soul full of courage and gentleness.
At Speranța, Mască discovered what it means to be respected and loved. His fear turned into trust, and his silence filled with play and attention.
Today, Mască is a lively, brave, and curious dog who reminds us that survivors can be reborn, even after the darkest experiences.
