This is Cluj, he is 9 years old, and was brought by the Speranța emergency team from Cluj.
He is a gorgeous Malinois who has had a terrible life. His first owner was the only one who really loved him. Sadly, that first owner died tragically young of carbon monoxide poisoning. Years of extreme suffering followed for Cluj. He has been passed from one misbehavior to another, beaten, isolated, neglected, starved, abandoned, hit by a car on at least two occasions. The second accident destroyed one of his front paws, so Cluj will be forever lame. Despite the trauma, Cluj is happy with his life in the shelter and grateful to the people who care for him.
