Morogan's story

Morogan is 8 years old and is just now learning what it means to be a dog.
He spent years locked in a dirty, cramped apartment, never taken outside, never socializing, never living.
Now, with small steps, he’s learning to trust. He’s shy, but curious. He’s hurt, but open.

Our trainer is working with him gently, day by day, and we dream of the day he will be ready to go home.

HOW DOES SPONSORSHIP WORK?

Sponsoring Morogan is easy

Tell us a little about you, choose your monthly amount and confirm your sponsorship with your first payment. After that, it’s automatic, nothing more for you to do.

Receive updates

Once your sponsorship begins, we'll send you a welcome email with your sponsorship certificate. Every month, you'll receive updates and photos, so you can see how Morogan is doing and the difference your support is making.

3.

Manage your sponsorship

You can manage your donation by accessing the Donor Portal from the emails confirming your monthly payment. You can edit or cancel your sponsorship anytime.

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.

Why dogs like Morogan need sponsors

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.

Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.

Sponsorship allows dogs like Morogan to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
