Iulica (Cocuța)'s story

Iulica is an 11 year old female who has been a cheerful puppy ever since we have known her. Always upbeat and energetic, always eager to play and share, she is a never-ending source of good humor, relaxation and fun. When she does manage to stop and hold on to some of that energy, she’s also very affectionate and clingy.

All in all, Iulica fully deserves to have and find a family and a home of her own. Whether she does is up to you. Do you feel ready to love, but especially to be loved in a way you’ve probably never been loved before?

If you’d rather make a single contribution instead of sponsoring monthly, you can make a one-off donation to support Iulica (Cocuța).

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.

Unlike monthly sponsorship, this option does not include regular updates or a dedicated sponsorship relationship with Iulica (Cocuța). It’s simply another meaningful way to help provide the care they deserve.

Why dogs like Iulica (Cocuța) need sponsors

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.

Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.

Sponsorship allows dogs like Iulica (Cocuța) to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
