Sponsor Brândușa

Become Brândușa's hero, even from afar

Brândușa is an elderly dog in our shelter who, sadly, has very small chances of being adopted. Her age and medical needs often make people pass her by… but she still deserves care, comfort, and a peaceful life.

In the shelter, Brândușa has many needs: suitable food for her age, treatments, veterinary check-ups, and a warm place to rest. All of these are constant costs for us.

If you can’t adopt her, you can adopt her from a distance. This means helping her with a small monthly contribution for food, treatments, and care. Every bit of help matters and can make her old age easier.Brândușa doesn’t ask for much, just to know that someone is thinking about her.

Adopt Brândușa from a distance.

How your sponsorship helps Brândușa

Every dog at Speranța Shelter deserves food, warmth, medical care and love, whether they find a home next month or spend many more years with us.

Dogs like Brândușa often wait the longest for a home. Whether or not Brândușa ever finds a forever family, your sponsorship means they never go without.

Although your sponsorship is linked to Brândușa, your donation also helps us care for every dog at Speranța Shelter. Together, we make sure no rescued dog is ever left without the essentials they need.

By sponsoring Brândușa, you’re helping provide:

  • Nutritious meals every day
  • Veterinary care, including check-ups, medication and treatment whenever needed
  • A safe place to live, with warm shelter during Romania's cold winters
  • Exercise, enrichment and companionship to keep them healthy and happy
  • Special care, rehabilitation or mobility support if their condition requires it

If you’d rather make a single contribution instead of sponsoring monthly, you can make a one-off donation to support Brândușa.

Your gift will help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, shelter and everything else they need throughout the year.

Unlike monthly sponsorship, this option does not include regular updates or a dedicated sponsorship relationship with Brândușa. It’s simply another meaningful way to help provide the care they deserve.

Why dogs like Brândușa need sponsors

Every year, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Many eventually arrive at Speranța Shelter after suffering neglect, illness or abuse. While we work tirelessly to find every dog a loving home, some simply wait much longer than others.

Older dogs, dogs with disabilities, and those carrying emotional scars are often overlooked despite having so much love to give.

Sponsorship allows dogs like Brândușa to receive everything they need for as long as they’re with us. It also helps us continue rescuing the next stray dog with nowhere else to go.
